Alexander Vetrov is taken prisoner at performance of the fighting task in Afghanistan. He doesn't know that for a family and friends he is dead, and for the country - he is the traitor, therefore Vetrov uses the only mortally dangerous possibility to return home and agrees to accompany a caravan with the goods of his owner. In case of successful end of mission freedom is promised to him.
Vetrov will go to the end, he will have to fight, to find the true friend and to find love.
