Description:
Romania, the summer of 1970. The Ceausescu regime is in full swing. Katherine (40), our protagonist is returning to her birthplace in Transylvania for the first time since she emigrated to Canada with her father after World War II. She is of Jewish-Hungarian decent, she was deported with her entire family under Hungarian rule in Transylvania during World War II. Only she and her father survived the camps.
