Description:
In a small town, an innocent orphan boy is hoping to find a place to call home. Maddie Blanton kindly welcomes her new charge, but her husband, Carl, and his mother, are suspicious of the boy. As Francis is becoming a man, and fueled by accusations from Carl's mistress, Vera, he is forced to leave the farm and finds employment with Jim Verret.
