Fritz (Corey Feldman) has earned his nickname “Lucky” the hard way: he was struck by lightning – not once, but twice – and lived to tell the tale! That, however, is where his luck ends.
His everyday life is far from spectacular: Fritz, himself, is a bit scruffy, lives on a run-down houseboat and works for minimum wage at a rural café. He supplements his income with revenue from a small business, co-owned by his best mate J.D. (John Friedmann), breeding earthworms and selling them to fishermen.
