Description:
Reeling from the death of his infant son, Kane is a broken man -- an alcoholic former boxer, with an estranged ex-wife who is singlehandedly raising their young daughter.
His day job at a nursing home doesn’t quite cut it so Kane makes a buck fighting back alley brawls by night. Then Kane’s ex-wife, Louise, is diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Without health insurance and already living just above the poverty line, she counts on Kane for help to cover her treatment.
